Question 3 United aircrafts in YSSY

Good afternoon everyone,

There were three 747-400 owned by United in YSSY (Sydney Airport) and one of them (N105UA) was stabled near V Australia B777-300ER aircraft on eastern side of the airport, as one of them was taking off to Melbourne yesterday.
How come they were 3 of them?

Regards,

Barry Cook

Isn't there at this time of the year an extra UA flight in from west coast USA?

Maybe I am wrong, I am sure someone who really knows will advise.

Kind regards,

Geoff
