Default Spotting radar mound 26th

I know this is really late notice. I am going to spare a few hours of the morning to take some photos around the radar mound. I am not sure if it is still okay to go there, as last time i was there, works were being carried out, however that was during the week and one of the security guards ask me to move on. If anyone is keen to go, ill see you there.

It's still a construction zone, so you'd probably be best avoiding the area.

EDIT: There are major works on Twy Charlie going on at the moment which isn't due to end until 1400 this afternoon, and I expect the heavy vehicles for this site will be regularly going to and from the compound area near the radar field.

Thanks for the info. I read your reply last night and gave the radar mound a miss a miss. If and when that spot is clear, please let me know as i like the shots that can come out of that area. Thanks.

I think that by the time works are complete down there I may well have forgotten about this thread altogether!

Do you know what they are building down there at the radar mound?

I'm not sure they're 'building' anything at the moment, but it is being used as a compound for storing materials used in the taxiway reconstruction project as well as contractor compounds.
