Default Virgin/Skywest - ATR72 - Seating?

I am booked on DJ646 (SYD-CBR) this coming Tuesday, and when I selected my seat today I noticed a different layout to the usual ATR72 services.

Usually it is 17 seat layout, buy my seat map shows 18 rows. Any ideas?

If my memory serves me right this is the seat map for VH-FVX or VH-FVU as these have a different layout to the rest of the ATR fleet as they were orders from another carrier that Virgin/Skywest picked up.

Dom,

Hello Oliver
I think that i read some where that skywest/ dj atr 72-600 has 74 seats instead of the 68 on the 500 series. But I could be wrong.

Oliver, that's the seat layout on FVU & FVX as Dom mentioned!

Mitchell, the -600's haven't entered service on the SYD-CBR rotation yet! As far as I'm aware, I think they are only up on QLD at the moment.

As far as I'm aware both series have 68 seats and the -600 isn't in service. Still doing crew training flights with Skywest. It has been to SYD doing trial ABX runs I think.

Has not been to Sydney yet Radi. It has done a couple of flights between ABX and CBR but has not reached here yet.

ATR takes over the ABX route later this month. Another Ejet route will be going to the ATR by the end of the year, but I won't say which one as it's still not public knowledge.

Hopefully MEL will get ATR services soon.
