I think this would of been a WTF moment for those that saw it in flight...

Cool

I remember flying into Coolangatta many years ago. When the ground spoilers deployed I saw the word CORROSION, with arrows pointing to various places normally hidden by the spoilers.

Didn't think it was very funny at the time......

True Mark but you could say the same for the famous A320 without an engine cowling photo. But yes,very silly to bring it to the pax attention

If people only knew the number of defects an aircraft carried.Nothing unusual to see a bit of high speed tape hanging off a flap or some part of an aircraft.
