Talking What I did yesterday...

G'day all,

Excuse me if I'm a little excited, but guess what I got to do for the first time yesterday?

I'll give you a few clues.

Yep. I did my first, dedicated air to air photo shoot yesterday!

What a buzz! :-D I never realised just how hard it would be though. Boy, what a workout.

My deepest thanks to the guys and girls at Air Action in the Hunter valley for the opportunity.

Cheers,
A very happy Motty.

Thanks Adam.

I was in the Yak in the middle of this shot. Open canopy and all!

Cheers,
Motty.

G'day Adam,

I was asked to to the shoot by the guys at Air Action so that they could get some advertising material together.

You're right, there's no way in the world I could afford to do it myself. Mind you, thousands of dollars in fuel, aircraft and people's time as well as the expectations of a "customer"? No pressure at all!?

Cheers,
Motty.

G'day Andrew.

I've got a Canon 400D + Canon 17-85mm IS + a Canon 40D + Sigma 50-500mm.

Although, for this shoot, I put the 17-85 on the 40D for (hopefully) best results.

Cheers,
Motty.

Many thanks Scott.

Yes, it was brilliant (although I do remember thinking at the time; "this is damn hard work!" ).

Cheers,
Motty.
