Thanks for the details of the special flights by QANTAS to TLV, Stirling. QF9 is scheduled to arrive at LHR at 5:05 each morning. It will turn around to operated to TLV returning to LHR at 19:45.

I presume that QF10 will depart 22:00'ish to PER about 10 hours late and may not operate the PER-MEL-PER leg but return to LHR as QF9 seven or eight hours late. Alternatively, QANTAS could redeploy another B789 from MEL-LAX for example and replace it with an A380 as there are excess A380s at present that could be used prior to the commencement of the NW schedule.

Interestingly FR24 TLV Arrivals schedule shows VH-ZNN due in at 13:30 local as ASY1168. So operated on behalf of the RAAF rather than thier QF6xxx charter numbers??

Qantas don’t have traffic rights into TLV so that probably explains the callsign. Looks like they have delayed the QF10 by 12 hours so maybe the aircraft are doing the TLV rotation then resuming normal ops with crews doubling up at LHR

The remaining repatriation flights have been cancelled due to the rapidly changing and volatile conditions.

VXA had it's YES decals removed last night. Spotters in Perth have reported it is back to standard livery. Does anyone know if VFP and TQZ have had the same treatment?

A380, OQL has just left SYD for SIN as QF6001. Does anyone know what the flight is for - maintenance, refurbishment, repatriation or? If to the middle east for repatriation reasons it would probably be operating non-stop. Hopefully, the flight is for refurbishment but AUH and DRS have been the locations where this has been done up to now.

Also, OQH will probably return to SYD this week after repainting in PUS. Hopefully OQI, being the only remaining A380 in the previous livery, will be able to be squeezed in for repainting in PUS before the start of the NW schedules.

OQL appears to be off to LHR after SIN.

Thanks Wenglock. The flight is possibly positioning to LHR to pick up the passengers from the first repatriation flight from TLV to LHR. Maybe it will return to Australia via the middle east to also pick up passengers from more recent military repatriation flights to Dubai.
