Qantas Shanghai-Sydney A330 Query
Hi all.
I’m booked to fly Shanghai-Sydney on QF later this year. The flight is currently scheduled on a A330-200 rather than the normal -300 series. Does anyone know which sort of -200 series aircraft QF would use for this service? I’m really hoping it’s not one of the the two aircraft that have yet to be reconfigured. Thanks in advance. |

Hard to tell this far out of course but looking at the past couple of months when it has been a 200 it has always been the old config (EBG and EBL). They are due for refurbishment sometime soon, can't remember exactly when.

Thanks Adam, fingers crossed it's up-gauged to a -300 or a better -200 config!

I wouldn't pay too much attention to what aircraft you have at present. Suggest you set up a seat alert in Expertflyer, config changes will trigger it.

The A332s operating to PVG during September are 27J config aircraft which are the upgraded A332s.
See below: https://www.ausbt.com.au/qantas-reva...ness-class-loo Hope this helps |

Thanks Brad, it doesn't say if these will be completed by September though. Do you know if the economy cabins of the remaining A332's are being updated too? Cheers.

The 2 unrefurbished A332s once upgraded will join the domestic fleet with ipads in economy
