I still think that the new scheme looks a little bit, meh! Even on the EMB-190.

I notice the darker titles on the fuselage are starting to happen.

Is there plans to put the Virgin logo onto the tails of VUY, VUZ and ZPQ anytime soon?

How many years will it take to re-paint the entire Virgin fleet? As its seems to ba going slowly I hope its more than 1 aircraft per month.

You will find that as they get more new aircraft off the production line these will be delivered in new livery. Aircraft that they decide to hold onto and refit will slowly get done as maintenance slots and time permits. Others that are going off lease they are wasting time painting and will probably retain there current livery until they return. You will find some of these aircraft are also not ADSB compliant and therefore not worth Virgin spending money to install the equipment that will come standard on a new aircraft and therefore the new operator or lessor will have to spend the money to make it complaint for the airspace it will operate in. Take a look at United, they have aircraft in 3 different liveries. They will try and do them as quick as possible, but rebranding takes time. Look at QF, not all there aircraft have the revised livery yet.

Cheers

Michael

Hi...

It would make sense to presume the following aircraft are the "20" that will be in the new livery by end of year... which include the 10 new 738's...

Already painted:

XFA, XFB, YFC, YFF, YVA, ZPR

To be delivered new, in the new livery:

YFH, YFK, YIA, YIB, YID, YIE, YVC, YVD, ZPT

Already in fleet (new livery to be applied):

VBY, VUY, VUZ, YFE, ZPQ

Bingo... there are the 20 aircraft... these is pieced together from all the many bits and pieces from various sources.

VBY is losing its blue livery in December.

Regards,

Steve S

p.s. One can only wish, that after these aircraft, those horrible Pacific Blue ones are repainted.

A shame VBY is losing it's Blue Livery. Would be nice if they kept her the same blue all over but adopted the new livery with silver tail logo???
