A few things today.

As well as the 5 diversions.United,Virgin Atlantic,QF 12,QF42,QF 22 we also had a first visit of VH-FKO Alliance Fokker 50 joining sister ship VH-FKY.Both immediately departed on a charter to Thangool.

G550 N662CP arrived yesterday and Cessna caravan N506EX due within the hour.

Today BNE had rare 333 HL7524 for KE

VH-SSV Fifo Air Metro

P2-LAC C130 Lynden Cargo due soon.

Past few days we have had a rotation of REX saabs with ZRB,ZRC and later today ZRM is expected down from TSV.

QF 108 diverted in today as well.

Skytraders VCJ was in twice on Tuesday.

Challenger 300 N167RD arrived today.

RP-C8609 on the 16th June was the 5th different PAL 320 into BNE.

Expansion of the Virgin Australia lounge at Brisbane Airport is just one of a number of significant infrastructure enhancements planned under a new agreement between the airline and and Brisbane Airport Corporation.

The deal also includes a series of major upgrades to Virgin's leased area at the domestic terminal over the next three years, new gate lounges to support the airline's growing ATR Turboprop operations and additional aerobridge gates for wide-bodied Airbus A330 aircraft.

BAC chief executive and managing director Julieanne Alroe described the signing as a "significant milestone" for the airport.

"The agreement proves the commitment of both BAC and Virgin Australia to the growth of aviation services in Brisbane, Queensland and Australia," she said.

In addition, the agreement includes ongoing runway access for the next 10 years and support for the development of the new parallel runway.

Alroe underlined BAC's commitment to building the runway with the project so far "on track and on schedule".

"Our investment so far, along with today's announcement, demonstrates this commitment and is an important step forward," Alroe said.

Virgin's chief financial officer Sankar Narayan described the airport as "key" to its growth aspirations, with 37% of its domestic flights departing or arriving there each day.

"We have worked closely with BAC to achieve an outcome that is in the best interests of our customers, our shareholders and the state of Queensland," he said.

The deal also includes the sale and lease-back of the Virgin Australia hangar which is expected to be finalised by June 30.

Virgin E-190 VH-ZPO has just arrived back in BNE from overseas.It left BNE via DRW on 14 May.

Friday saw N3050 a G550 in and out.
Today a first visit for Philippines RP-C8613
Also today

Past several days have seen A330-203 MRTT A39-002 back for maintenance.

DQ-FJL(744) replace the normal 332 of Fiji Airways on Monday night.

TF-FIW departed on Wednesday after going tech.

Rare citation VH-MXD for BNE was also in during the week as well as DO 328 VH-PPV of AMSA.

Convair VH-PDX departed back to Bankstown on Monday .

ZK-ECO Vincent did a extra Roma flight which ended up in Melbourne but has since returned.

AAE are planning to commence a weekly 733F CNS-BNE-POM-CNS tomorrow.This will give BNE spotters daylight chance to view these night aircraft.

Safair Herc ZS-RSC departed BNE for Broome on Saturday.

Tonight we have a special flight according to Flightaware.

Omni Air 763 N396AX due from Hawaii .
