I don't think OOL-PER is daily, looking at their website. I think 4x weekly.

Pretty awful back-of-the-clock times, but I guess that's typical for the LCCs into PER.

Thats a lot of extra capacity from Perth and finally new flights to OOL they could also increase the CNS flight to daily too.

It's only 4 per week extra for both MEL-PER and SYD-PER. The others listed above are existing services but retimed.

As for CNS-PER and CNS-ADL, well, they tried adding a couple per week extra to both of those in April, and it looks like it didn't really work because they prefer to have the aircraft sitting on the ground doing nothing!

But the OOL-PER is also a brand new route for Jetstar not an existing one.
So Perth gets 11 new JQ services a week.

I thought that a Gold Coast to Perth flight was not viable for any airline due to restrictions with OOL's runway which I am sure I read on this website a while back. So something has changed recently for it to be able to happen now. E.g. flights can take off with a full payload and with no weight restrictions.

Its actually 22 new services per week (4 MEL, 4 SYD, 7 OOL, 7 BNE).

As for the runway, when DJ operated the route the 737 had to be weight restricted. But the runway has been upgraded since then. OOL has widebody non-stops to KIX, NRT, so OOL-PER shouldn't be a problem with a full narrowbody even with the winds.
