They probably painted it because it got transferred over to the Jetconnect fleet and for whatever reason I believe all the 734's they had were in the new livery.
I guess a factor also is that the recent announcement of retiring some planes sooner then planned may have also caused these planes to be retired 'early'.

I believe all of the JC 734 fleet was repainted after their arrival into the fleet, and only recently (Last year or the year before). It may seem like a waste in some peoples eyes, however if you see some of the tired looking 734's in the domestic fleet, the repaint can make a great cosmetic difference (Hell people look at -TJO and think it is a new plane on the outside).
