And is still going... http://flightaware.com/live/flight/VHOGU

Zac M 23rd December 2014 09:20 AM

The only 767 not retiring on Saturday is OGT which finishes uo on Friday

Rowan McKeever 23rd December 2014 09:41 AM

Odd... I would've expected the last flight would be operated by a sparkling clean, new colours aircraft... so if OGT finishes up on Friday, that ain't gonna happen!?

Zac M 23rd December 2014 04:33 PM

OGT (and OGU) can't operate the last flight as they are a different config and there won't be enough seats on them to operate that flight.

Rowan McKeever 23rd December 2014 04:50 PM

Mmm yep hadn't thought of that!! What's doing the last 824/825?

Fred C 23rd December 2014 05:36 PM

The last flight, QF767 is sched to be VH-OGL.

Zac M 23rd December 2014 07:31 PM

OGM will be the last BNE-DRW-BNE service.

any tips on which runway it'd use?

forecast for tomorrow is cloudy. Winds south to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h turning east to northeasterly in the afternoon. Should be coming in to land from the south presumably?

Alex T 26th December 2014 09:36 PM

I've checked the wind forecast and it looks like the NE wind doesn't come in till late in the evening. At 17:00 the wind is a still a southeasterly but tends to be more of an easterly. From 20:00 the wind starts to become more of an NE.

So by my estimates (just hard guesses) it'll either be RWY16R or 07. :)
