I thought OGT was going to WestJet.
-OGT going to WS was another airliners.net myth, think somebody tried to put some dots together as one of their actual ex QF B763's is being registered C-xxGT and drew some conclusions from there. It's actually in Paya Lebar being converted to a freighter for National.
It's a bit like the first 4 QF A332's had weaker floors in the J cabin and the first 4 JQ Dreamliners were delivered with reduced thrust engine pylons.. |
Also OGU, OGP, OGQ and OGR are all being converted to freighters. So WestJet may be taking the old 767's and in the process dramatically raising their fleet age.
WestJet is taking up VH-OGI (to become C-FOGI), VH-OGJ (to become C-FOGJ), VH-OGL (to become C-FOGL) and VH-OGN (to become C-FOGN) as previously stated in this thread.
But why did they take OGI over OGV? Is that still at Victorville? It's much more practical to use a 15 year old aircraft rather than a 26 year old aircraft.
