QANTAS has scheduled OQJ to reposition to LHR from DRS this Saturday with another A380 (ex QF1) as replacement. We shall see if this swap takes place as scheduled or is postponed.

Fleet movements.

QF 220-300. - 2 more deliveries 2H25 to total 3 for FY25. 8 for FY26 (down 3)
QF 321XLR - first delivery now June 2025 and only aircraft for FY25 (down 1). 6 for FY26 (down 1)
QF 350 - remains on track for calendar 2H26 (in FY27)
JQ 321LR - 7 in FY25 (down 1. So 1 left this half), 5 in FY26 (up 1)
JQ320n - 5 in FY25 (leaving 2 more)

A refurb program also announced for 737s to commence 2027. For between 42 and ~60 aircraft including new seats, bins and lighting.

Should be swapping with OQH all going well.

Thanks for the information, Fred. OQH arrived this morning as QF2 and should therefore depart as QF1 this afternoon, which will work nicely with the swap with OQJ tomorrow in LHR.

Checking this morning OQJ is now scheduled to depart DRS five hours later than originally scheduled, as is OQH departing LHR for DRS, but this shouldn't affect the swap happening. Also, OQB is operating the QF63 to JNB this morning so all looks good for OQH as long as OQJs maintenance is completed.

Do you know if they are doing main gear changes in DRS on these A380s?

OQI also needs to be sent off for a re-paint at somestage I saw it in Sydney the otherday its looking dreadful!

I would say so, the timing is pretty consistent with a paint

Suffice to say, any QF 737 making a 2 week stop in TSV is getting repainted.

EBS is currently on its way back to Brisbane from Singapore. Will be interesting to see if its been repainted into the new livery

It has been repainted into the current livery.

EBS has also had One World titles applied, similar to EBV.

That makes three in the same OneWorld/Silver Roo livery now; EBN, EBV, and EBS.

EBK due for a test flight today.

Just leaves EBR & EBQ the only newer A330-200's that are still in the old livery & I'm guessing will be repainted soon

I wonder if EBN will lose its oneworld stickers now that we have two painted. EBN is only a sticker ontop of the existing 2016 livery

Today marks the 90th anniversary of their first international flight, BNE-SIN, only took three days with two pax

It's about time they painted something other than an A330-200 in Oneworld livery, perhaps a 737 or 787? Or even one of their new A321XLRs?

QANTAS B738 VH-VZV ferried BNE-TSV last night, 24/4/25 as QF6120. In for a repaint I would think and according to my records will be the last VZ registered B738 to receive the silver roo livery.

VZZ is not yet painted

VZZ was painted in the first couple of weeks of April and would have just departed TSV when this photo was taken.

So is there going to be a replacement Retro Roo 2 on the repaints after VXQ went back to the normal livery, or is it purely speculation…?
