With the number of new Airbus frames on the way could one of them become Retro Roo ?

The Qantas announcement stated that the “Retro Roo II” livery would be painted onto a newer 737 in the fleet

Another question I had was what would become of "Mendoowoorrji" (VH-XZJ) when it is due for a repaint, which I am guessing might be in the next year or two.

XZJ would most likely be painted back into standard livery and a A321XLR will be the new special.

QANTAS has scheduled A380, OQH to reposition from DRS to LHR as QF6022 this Thursday, 8/5/25 following maintenance. Another A380, presumably tomorrow's QF1 ex SYD, will reposition from LHR to DRS as QF6021 to replace OQH in maintenance. OQH will return to SYD as QF2 on Thursday evening from LHR arriving on Saturday morning.

OQH is back in service, OQG has replaced her in DRS.

FlightAware is showing that A380 VH-OQL had a transponder ping (is that the correct description?) in AUH on 7/5/25, which may mean that it is nearing the end of its maintenance there?
