Thanks Fred, much appreciated.

Take this with a pinch of salt but there is a thread over at airliners.... that Canadian LCC, WestJet is taking 4 ex QF B763's which will be refurbished them before entering service.
VH-OGG departed about midday today bound for LAX as QF6021 with an all female crew receiving a water canon salute.
Ahhh the first aircraft I ever jumpseated on !
According to skyliners-aviation.de VH-OGK was WFU after operating QF462 last Thursday, 7th of August and will ferry to VCV soonish.
How many does leave as active in the fleet now ?
I get 10 plus the freighter (-EFR):
-OGI, -OGJ, -OGL, -OGM, -OGN, -OGO, -OGR, -OGS, -OGT, -OGU Looking through all the -OGx on flightaware there's a fair bit of slack in some of their flying... mightn't be too long before the next one is on its way out? |
Are the new B738's and returning A330's taking up the B767 services ?
Sure, the water cannon salutes look nice, but it's just a retiring 767. Maybe the last one deserves one.
Sydney's going to run out of water by the time the remaining Qantas fleet that's due for retirement leaves our shores. Mick |
VH-OGK is due to leave our shores on Friday 15th at 1115.
