That's a loooong test flight considering the previous were around 02:30.

James Smith 12th July 2024 01:15 PM

It sure was, Greg. VH-OYQ did very long racetrack patterns just to the north of XFW and crossed into the Netherlands a few times. It travelled 1,947 miles on the test flight, according to FlightAware.

Greg Hyde 12th July 2024 02:14 PM

Likewise, I did the same.

Something must of went wrong during the flight to add an extra 01:45

Which are the non-refurbished ones? Is that just the VH-XN_ and VH-YX_ block?

PS.N is reporting that the next 32Qs for JQ are OYR, OYT, OYU, OYV, OYW, OYX and OIR. I believe OIR could be their first A321XLR but I'm not 100% certain (reported currently as a -251NX but could change)

Greg Hyde 24th September 2024 03:18 PM

Ayden, have a look at the A321XLR arrival thread and you will see that the QF A321XLR will be using the VH-OGx block

Ayden H 24th September 2024 08:01 PM

I'm talking about Jetstar's XLRs, not QF's. I am already aware that QF's XLRs are using the OGx block.

Greg Hyde 24th September 2024 09:40 PM

The XLR's are designated A321-xxxNY
