Finding cheapest flights out of a city without a destination?

Is anybody aware of any website(s) that search multiple carriers to find the cheapest flights out of any Australian airport on any route without having to choose a destination?

i.e If I just wanted to get out of Brisbane on the cheapest flight to anywhere.

Perhaps a mystery flight David?

Mystery Flights costs $295 according to the website. There are plenty of flights that are cheaper than that.

Normally cheap flights are to capital cities. Without choosing a destination, it would be hard to find the cheapest flights.

no site or GDS can perform that function. Most GDS's have the ability to search for the lowest booking yield fare from a particular city to another city over a 14 day period in one search. But thats the best that can be done.

Hi David,

Try this site: www.skyscanner.com

Just make sure the "To:" entry field is either blank or type in "Everywhere" or "Australia" and you'll get a listing of the cheapest flights which you can then select to get further details.

Hope this helps.

Justin.

Here's a fairly good one, just type in BNE to anywhere, its updated every few hours.

Dont think it covers Qantas though.

Thanks Justin and Lukas, exactly what I was looking for.

And Mr Ramsay, no, not yet anyway, but it's always good to have a plan!
