Alliance first F70 Arrived BNE last night.
First Fokker 70 for a Australian carrier. Southern Cross 1028 was the callsign. |
According to my SBS logs, it looks like Virgin Australia VH-YVA may have come into Brisbane very late on the 30 June from Christchurch. I would imagine it is still to enter service.
Michael |
YVA is repositioning from BNE now as VOZ9064, looks to be headed to MEL.
|
Hi...
Apparently YVA entered service today as DJ725 MEL to OOL. Regards, Steve S p.s. Not sure what they named YVA ?? ... but YFF is named Wineglass Bay. |
I can confirm that YVA did indeed do DJ725 today :)
Here she is on departure from OOL as DJ730, back to MEL. http://i56.tinypic.com/122ep1v.jpg There isn't a name underneath the maiden on YVA, and there isn't 'Wineglass Bay' written under the maiden on YFF either: http://i55.tinypic.com/2dcdco9.jpg No name on YFF  |
The 2nd Fokker 70 for Alliance, 9H-AFZ, has started its ferry flight according to Skyliner news. Due BNE on the 9th.
|
The first one was having it's Maltese reg being removed this morning Peter.

Thanks LLoyd.
Was hoping to see these as Malev on my last 2 European trips. Budapest was on our prelim itinery but a lot of mucking about to get there on a oneworld booking. |

Also, Virgin Australia's newest B738 (VH-YIA) has rolled out, but has yet to be painted. |

Grahame just to slightly adjust your 16Right data. I beleive it, as well as the rest of the new deliverys, ferry NAN-MEL and not into SYD.
|
Does anyone know what VH-VZO first revenue flight is?
Thanks |
Thanks Tim, Qantas reuse the 6000s Flight Numbers all the time for different sectors, so this would have been from a previous flight.
|
What scheme is XWS in please.

The latest Dash 8-400 for Sunstate/Qantaslink, VH-LQE (4371), has begun its delivery flight. Two more are mentioned in Skyliner News, (4375 & 4376), so they will probably follow soon.
|
VH-YIA has also begun its delivery flight, it landed in HNL just over three hours ago. No name on her too.

VH-VZP did its first commercial flight yesterday.
|
VH-VZP first commercial was today.
|
Is LQE going to Canberra? If so, when should it be arriving?
|
It left Downview on the 26th (Tuesday) heading west so should be here this weekend I'd imagine Zac.
