Another new A320 for QANTASLINK, VH-UVO, (ex 9V-JSF, VH-JQH, TC-OGP, F-WWKC) arrived in Perth yesterday, 28/10. And VH-JQX entered service on 26/10.

B717, VH-NXN, returned to the Eastern States from Perth late in September and I expect others to follow soon.

Word is that at least 2 ex. JQ Asia birds currently stored in Singapore will be repainted and join the fleet.

Interesting to see some new 717 routes opening up in the east, notably Brisbane - Hobart and Melbourne - Launceston with the latter being up-gauged from Q400 services, according the QF timetables.

The other 7 B717s will be returned to the Eastern states and will be replaced by 5 A320s for QANTASLINK - 1 from Jetstar and 4 from Jetstar Asia.

I have also been told that more QF B737s will be allocated to FIFO work. The numerous daily FIFO flights in W A hve made Perth the busiest airport in Australia for several months.

Greg there is 1 ex JQ Asia A320 in Perth now with another 3 to go as per what Bob has said and out in the media.

The other two ex JQ-Asia birds were reportedly 9V-JSB/H which have stored in Singapore since March

JQX formally transferred to Network on 04/11

NXO Flew to Sydney direct on Sunday as QF6200

VH-UVO entered service this morning.

9V-JSA is also believed to be tranfered to Network

The next 3 A320's are expected to be registered, VH-UVP/K/J

It appears that only 4 717's are left in WA - VH-NXD, NXG, NXK and NXL

It looks as though NXK flew to BNE on 18/12/20. Does that leave just three B717s now based in PER?

Correct James ; VH-NXK, departed Perth for Brisbane on 18/12 as QJE6201, leaving only 3 B717s in the West.

On a separate note, the seventh A320 for QANTASLINK, VH-UVP, arrived in Perth on 24/12. It was previously 9V-JSH, VH-VQA and F-WWBQ.

VH-UVK was registered on 11/12 but as far as I am aware has not yet been delivered.

UVK is still in Singapore

Network/QLink has reportedly purchased 2 x ex. Avanti Air F100's (D-AOLG&H)

The first was expected last month and the other in October 2021

D-AOLH was test flown in Paderborn /Lippstadt, Germany on 23/01 but is yet to ferry south

Apparently all white and for spares.

Is Jetstar A320-200 VH-XJE destined for QantasLink? - after its maintenance in Seletar.

I am pretty sure the next 2 are ex JQ Asia

ex JetStar A320-200 VH-XJE delivered to QantasLink in Perth on 27/5/2021 - to be registered VH-UVQ.

VH-XJE was Jetstar Asia 9V-JSE from 2010 - 2018

According to PlaneSpotters, JQ are due 3 A320s, all ex Jetstar Japan, but are all still in storage in ASP. 2 are now operated by CAMO Australia, one by Goshawk aviation.

XJE formally changed re/owners on 01/06 to UVQ

A320 VH-UVQ finally got out of bed this morning and entered service as QF1826 Perth to Karratha.

VH-VQZ transferred to Network/Qlink on 23/07

VQZ entered service on 04/08
