Radio Scanner

Hi All,
I have a TTI TSC-100 scanner and I'm finding that I get interference with the ATIS frequency when I'm on any frequency at Sydney, mostly Sheps.
Is this something to do with the quality of radio or some other issue?
Is there any other recommendations for a replacement possibly?

Your scanner is suffering from front end overload due to being in close proximity to a transmitter, your best bet would be to get a better quality unit.
