There were remarkable scenes at The Mountain just an hour before the Great Race when the aeroplane delivering the Peter Brock Trophy hit a wall on Mountain Straight.

It was a terrible landing as well. I was surprised they landed on that part of the track. I know Matt Hall landed on the Pit straight previously.
