Qantas FF points earners
 

Had mail from American Express advising points earned on their cards will no longer be ablle to be transferred to Qantas FF programme from Mar,09

Only way is to get a Qantas Amex card at $149 per year.

Amex costs me $80 at present

Next thing Qantas will put a 3 year limit on using points.

Hmmm... it used to be free. They better not introduce that annual fee for current cardholders... if they do I'll definitely be cancelling mine.

I think it depends on your type of card. AMEX wrote to me to tell me that they had created a new level of rewards program which would earn QF points and that I needed to do nothing as I would automatically be enrolled into it when the changes are made.
