Qantas has replied:

The aircraft was a Boeing 737.
· The incident occurred in early May. The aircraft is due to return to service in mid-July and there are no impacts to scheduled flights.
· Damage was confined to rear cargo area and the fire was put out within minutes.
·The maintenance provider in Hong Kong is CASA accredited, and all work is overseen and approved by a Qantas engineer on-site.
