You lot are lucky you got a meal at all on QF. SYD-MEL-SYD for me amounted to 2 Coffees and 2 Cookies in total without an option for anything else (on board) DJ return from the Gold Coast this week you get zip but you have the option to purchase a variety of snacks. I'm good with that because the price of the fare more than makes up for it.
What gets me is what QF charges (my company in this case) for the fare and what you get. The one plus on one leg was travelling by 767 - love the space.
To the Gold Coast you don't even get an option to go QF so it's DJ all the way. The alternative doesn't bear thinking about (shudder!)
