The Athabasca Glacier definitely is losing lots of ice. I was there about 5 years ago (in the middle of the Canadian summer) and it looked very different to now.
Anyhow, great photos Grahame. Brought back so much memories of my 3 visits to Canada. Did you notice the contrast in scenery and people between Western Canada, central Canada and eastern Cananda?
Looking forward to going back there again next year.
