I'm curious about these "cracks" since in an earlier life I owned a non-ferrous (read Aluminium) foundry and I've seen plenty of "cracks" - generally non critical. Most would have been sanded, machined or polished off before the part was placed into service.

Cracks could be from the manufacture process, the assembly process, stress, corrosion, or combination of the above etc

I'm surprised that QF has yet to issue a more detailed description or photo of these "non important" cracks. It would re-assure customers in these large flying machines.
