Default Emirates A380 early departure? 23/01/11

Just saw an Emirates A380 heading west overhead Blacktown this arvo at around 18:00? Seems a bit early - anyone know the story?

Dan

Dan EK have had a lengthy delay on yesterdays EK412 flight not departing SYD to AKL until almost 6pm. So it(EDC) opperated EK8413 AKL-SYD earlier this afternoon and departed to DXB. The normal flight today is due in shortly.

To sum it up, the one you saw depart this arvo should have gone to DXB last night.

Thanks Tim!

I thought it was odd considering the time!

We were working in our backyard and treated to seeing a Singapore A380 fly to the northwest, a little later we saw a Qantas one in the same direction and then, as mentioned, the delayed Emirates flight heading west.

Cheers,

Dan

The "Delete" was for my post Nick, I realised it was incorrect after I had posted some Emirates details.
