Michael,
This is a Brin media release that might answer some questions: BRINDABELLA AIRLINES CONCLUDES AIRCRAFT ACQUISITION AND 1st DELIVERY 13 June 2013 Brindabella Airlines is pleased to announce it has concluded an agreement for the acquisition of four BAE Jetstream 41 aircraft with the option to acquire a further five to support the airlines growth over the next two years. Chief Executive Officer of Brindabella Airlines Paul Schütz said today: “The first aircraft is being prepared for delivery and we can expect to see it in our Canberra hanger by the weekend of 16th June 2013 with it going into service some three weeks later. The three additional aircraft will be welcomed into our fleet at approximately one month intervals”. Brindabella Airlines new arrival will complement the airlines existing Jetstream 41 and 32 fleet, assist improve customer experience, maximise on time performance, and allow the progressive standardisation of the airlines fleet, product and on-board service. The BAE Jetstream 41 aircraft, with its niche capacity for an aircraft of its class, offers timely travel to destinations within the 1,000 kilometre range. The airlines Chief Commercial Officer James Blake said: “The delivery of this year’s first additional aircraft will result in our customers welcoming the reintroduction of the Jetstream 41 product onto our 24 flights per week Brisbane to Tamworth route, and daily service from Brisbane to Coffs Harbour allowing them to benefit from our friendly cabin crew service offering complimentary snacks, alcoholic and light refreshments, an on-board rest room, and greater capacity”. |

For those playing along at home it's XNE not NXE, NXE is a Qlink 717.
