Armidale as an airline hub - what are they smoking in New England? Then again, Corporate Air describe their SAAB 340 as the most advanced turboprop in service today ! Maybe they mean most advanced in age?

lol come on Mark... they're more advanced than the Metro that might operate ARM according to the asterisk! Agreed there is some interesting wording in that press release. They must have quite a bit of charter work out of BNE during the day otherwise their RPT isn't going to last long with two routes both once per day and both overnighting away from base.

Given that the aircraft currently spend most of the day parked on the GA apron at Brisbane and the FIFO work has dropped off, it's probably not a bad thing to try out some other markets.

I hope they do well, BNE probably has more aircraft in storage than Alice at present parked on old taxiways.
