YSSY Bay Allocations
Hi All , I am very new to this list , but was wondering whether or not it is possible to get some sort of idea of bay allocation for aircraft at YSSY .
Even something sent privately to andrew.norris@xtra.co.nz would be much appreciated Many thanks Andrew N |

Generally speaking, One World goes from Pier B, Star Alliance from Pier C.
However terminal works at the moment mean they could end up anywhere! |

Andrew, just to add more to the above.
Its very common to see UA around at 61 and 63. Air NZ are regularly tucked around the corner at 56 and 54. BA10 for departure is regularly from 36, but often pulls in at 8, 9 and 10. (it has a 10hr layover) Gate 57 seems to be a regular for SIA and the Emirates. JAL and Thai regularly use 58 and 59 but you can also find many other star alliance acft there too. QF rarely use Pier C. These are very general but are some of the more regular slots that I noticed when passing thru. |

Have a question re Emirates, apart from stated above, gate 57, what gates do they usually dock at. Is there any change in piers from the morning arrivals to when they arrive back from NZ in the evening.

Often in the morning they go to Bays 58 and 59 (Bay 60 has been downgraded due aerobridge works, but will soon take EK again if allocated) due to the A380 going to Bay 57. They are nearly always on Pier C.
