On December 23, Alliance flagged two Fokker 100 and one Fokker 50 aircraft would be leaving by March 31 in response to the changing schedules of its customers and the volatility in the resources and energy sector, reducing its fleet to 24 aircraft by the end of 2014/15.

VH-FKX (think it was X) has both the engines pulled off it outside the Alliance hanger at YPAD.

VH-FKY is the engineless F50 in ADL. Has not flown since 10-12-14

A Fokker 100 without engines loses about half its value. Those airframes are CHEAP.

Both FWH & FWI have been repainted in ALL WHITE livery.
Are these two aircraft due to be retired/stored/sold ?

They are going to be wet leased to a foreign airline or airlines. The other 2 will be stored as they both have maintenance checks coming up shortly.
So according to the paper a few weeks back 4 F100's will be taken from the fleet-2 wet leased and 2 stored. No mention of the stored aircraft regos?.

Looks like FWH/I have been purchased by Virginal Regional and will operate in WA against the Qantas/Network F100s.

FWI arrived in Wagga about half hour ago as VOZ9910. Say the Virgin Australia livery will be applied on the aircraft.

Yep, arrived in Wagga in full Alliance livery afternoon of 14th February and departed all white on the afternoon of the 27th February (no photos of the all white FWI as it departed when I was in Avalon and arrived the other day when I was at uni). This was FWI's third visit to Wagga, two for paint and the other was for an AFL charter.
I do have a photos of FWH in Alliance and all white. Hopefully will visit Wagga for a quick livery job.

FWH & FWI were the first two F100s to operate in Australia. Both had first flights in 1990 and imported by Flight West (hence the reg) in 1999.
Hard to believe that they are 25 years old with there new paint jobs.
thanks for the photos
