On December 23, Alliance flagged two Fokker 100 and one Fokker 50 aircraft would be leaving by March 31 in response to the changing schedules of its customers and the volatility in the resources and energy sector, reducing its fleet to 24 aircraft by the end of 2014/15.

A Fokker 100 without engines loses about half its value. Those airframes are CHEAP.

They are going to be wet leased to a foreign airline or airlines. The other 2 will be stored as they both have maintenance checks coming up shortly.
So according to the paper a few weeks back 4 F100's will be taken from the fleet-2 wet leased and 2 stored. No mention of the stored aircraft regos?. |
