Thanks for the correction, Fred. FlightAware had the SIN-SYD leg not completed but it was a bit confusing showing an estimated arrival time in SYD. QANTAS Source Tracker indicated the leg had been completed to SYD.
OQK is back in service currently inbound operating QF94 LAX-MEL. OQG has just departed SYD as yesterday's QF1 operating as QF1D. Last edited by James Smith; 28th November 2019 at 06:14 AM. |

I found the following article in Simple Flying on the QANTAS A380 unserviceabilities:
https://simpleflying.com/quarter-qan...leet-grounded/ Very much over the top and written in emotive language from the passengers perspective quoting their Twitter messages. From our interest there is no reason mentioned for OQFs mechanical problems and its lengthy stay in SIN. BTW, QF8 arrival today was cancelled as is today's QF1. I cannot wait to see the end of the A380's. Was there not a more suitable airliner at the time rather than a four engined blimp.
Am I correct to say that only Emirates has A380's left on order at this stage? With only approx. 260 built and a few left on order and a couple already scrapped, could they be called a flop especially if Emirates hadn't ordered any. As you can see I hate them lol. |
