*Bump*

Today's BA 747 used 16L for its take off with 34L in operation for take offs and landings.

Amazing take off - as expected, used as much of the runway as it could before rotation. It was too dark for any pictures but an amazing sight!

I did wonder why it was so high over my house where as the Singapore222 was only about 4000ft at the same time.

Anyone get any pics?

I was at cronulla beach and i saw it banking very steeply off to the east, looked very impressive indeed.

Interesting, considering there's virtually no breeze. Wouldn't expect the 744 though to use 16L
