It's a nice-looking aircraft.....is it someone rich/famous personal ride or a charter aircraft used for sporting teams, bands etc etc?

It belongs to the (Saudi) ARAMCO Group (ARAMCO = Arabian-American Consolidated Oil, if my memory serves me right), the Gulfstream N595A that was in over the weekend also belongs to that group.
Cheers
Wayne

Evening all,

From another forum

Quote:
Due after curfew is a Global Express with callsign RMF420. Probably M48-02 of the Royal Malaysia Air Force.

Corporate movements summary from 16Right ACARS, Google Maps and Planeplotter.

Note: Listed aircraft could be arrivals/departures from Sydney or Bankstown, or could be overflys to other destinations. This post is edited throughout the day with new movements.

EDIT: Just had a Falcon 2000EX arrive Rwy 16L. VH-WIO.

Thanks Peter...just drove over to see what it was. The stationary office has a pretty ordinary view of stuff on 3 mile finals for 16L, but the mobile office takes care of that! It had that typical Falcon shape with winglets, but I couldn't make out that it was only 2 engines and not 3 at a distance.

It was Falcon 2000EX VH-WIO which left this morning around 11:30 am.
Yes, very similar scheme to the F7X's we've had this year.

Also a heads up from Gordon R and logged at around 11:30 am is VH-WIO a Falcon 2000LX arriving from Nadi. Don't have a c/n at this stage.

Cheers Phil, Gordon gave it to me later.

No movement on the RMAF Global according to SBS. It had its engine covers on this morning.

Nice to see 5 Globals there this morning but no Gulfstreams!
VH-DNK, VH-LAW, VH-OCV, N889CP, M48-02.
