Minimum age for employment in the Industry
I am currently fed up with my current job and would like to look into getting a job in the aviation industry, I am however only 16.
I am assuming that airlines would not employ minors, correct? I can't find the answer anywhere and the only requirement Qantas have is that I must be eligible for my ASIC. If anyone knows the answer please let me know, either by posting this in this thread or PMing me.

Airlines (Talking from Customer Service POV) look for those who have flexible hours (Can work anytime, not just weekends or between certain hours) and with a decent amount of Customer Service Experience. So, someone who is over 18 years of age and out of school is what they want. I did CIT and worked, It was painful and I got no special treatment with regards to shifts. I had to work around work and TAFE to figure out a schedule, and work out what classes I would miss and what I could attend (And try and balance, catch up on work etc).
