Not true, you can land but cannot depart outside of the shoulder periods, happened to a TT flight a while ago.

You can do either if granted a dispensation. On the subject of how does DRW go I'll add that it's easily able to accommodate A380 in terms of runway, taxiways & aprons but as far as terminal space & off-airport infrastructure (hotel rooms etc) it'd be a decent headache to have one stay for any length of time!

Sorry, should have been more specific. International flights can use AD as an alternate and take off again during the curfew without a dispo - see DAP-W, YPAD Noise Abatement Procedures para 5.5.2. Domestic flights can land but can't take off again which is why Tiger got stuck.

This happens down here at YMML; because of the width (or lack of) of runway 09/27, whenever a A380 uses that runway, a runway inspection is required afterwards and that takes several minutes.
