Default HARS Gets Another One

On 23/07/2015 (sorry for the delayed update) HARS at Albion Park received for forward section of B707-338C QANTAS VH-EAG/RAAF A20-627.

Scrapped at Richmond in 2009, the forward section was initially reserved for the RAAF Museum and the tail held for the QFM in Longreach.

This year, DoD gifted the forward section to HARS.

Great to see another one saved from scrappers.

I wonder if any of the remaining G model trackers will end up at HARS that are at West Sale currently. Visited on Tuesday, I got the feeling they have been forgotten and left to rot.
