Default Ai 7232

Does anybody know what the deal is with the icon that states AI7232 to Singapore, departing at 11:30 on the sydney flight information website.

Thanks in advance.

P.S if you hover over it, it says airbus

G'day Matthew,

AI (Air India) codeshare with SQ (Singapore Airlines) SIN-SYD / SYD-SIN, you will also generally find that those flights listed on the SYD airport website with four digit flight numbers are codeshare flights.

Which means that SACL has associated the two letter code "ÄI" with Airbus Industries instead of Air India in their database. I guess the error will stay until it is rectified at the direction of SQ or AI.

How do you figure that?

Given that AI is the airline code for Air India.

Grant,

check this: http://www.sydneyairport.com.au/SACL...h.asp?f=ai7232

and look at the company icon next to the flight number, although it doesn't show the info for it says 'Airbus'
