Yep, we're upgrading the fleet with new Tritons and that is the new Car 2 (Landcruiser Prado). It's a nice bit of gear, and it goes quite well for a diesel!

Is it an illusion or is car 2 fitted with a bullbar?

Bullbar indeed. All of the vehicles have them, and they all have rather powerful spotlights mounted on them as well as things like mini-strobes, loudspeakers etc.
The spotlights on the Car 2 and Car B (Nissan Patrol) are the HID variety and give an incredible amount of light compared to the standard halogen globe fitted vehicles.

IPF's I believe.
