While Nadi might not be the final stop, it's still the cheapest way to get to LAX with a stopover in Fiji.

$840 from Melbourne, $857 from Sydney on Fiji Airways (All In)

Maybe Qantas is trying to bite into this market.

The Return flights are at a friendlier time than the current Fiji Air flights. I wonder whether Qantas Club passengers will get access to the Fiji Air lounge because they currently don't whether code share or not

Qantas will stick with the current setup, ie have access to the Fiji Airways Premier Lounge for all bar QF club members, as it is an associated lounge.
