I am a sucker for 'modernism' but I do like these BA 744's...

Firstly, thanks Bernie for posting these pics of your visit. Always great to see little museums like this keeping historical aircraft on display for the public.

In relation to that BA 747 model, which exact variant is that ? I know it's just a model, but those wingtips and extended top-deck suggest it's a 747-400, but those engines look like the ones you'd see on a -200.

Nonetheless, nice pics...and again, thanks for the worthwhile contribution Bernie.

Hey Shameel,

Although I'm sure Bernie appreciated the compliments, it wasn't him who took and posted the pics.
It was Lukas M.

Lukas,
Did you get any history on the real aircraft behind the BA model? (VH-BKS)

Morning Nige, why the hell are you up this early on a Sunday??? Getting some early practice in for the golf day I bet!

Anyone else think that they have a hangar to finish around that Mustang?

Yes...it wouldn't do so well in a hail storm, now would it?

I'm up this early because I have to pick up Nathan at 0935 from T2 for the golf day. I'm about to leave home now...

See you there!

Yep, whilst I do like the compliment, it most certainly was NOT me that posted them, originally. Just the 744, which now, we might like to discuss its engines...!!

Well done Lukas for posting them!!!
