Came across this acars message this afternoon

ACARS mode: 2 Aircraft reg: VH-ZXC [Boeing B763]
Message label: RB Block id: 0 Msg no: M47A
Flight id: QF1124 [MEL-MCY] [ Qantas ]

Anyone know the reason QF are sending a 767 to Maroochydore?

Might be and error Jason, I have QF1124 just arriving in Sydney from Melbourne (some times the ACARS is not reprogrammed correctly). VH-ZXC did Sydney - Cairns today, departimg at 1003 and arriving back at 1539.

Thanks for the response Grahame. Any idea as to why it was using the flt number 1124 instead of the even 4** number usually used on the MEL-SYD sectors, or was this also an error?

Sorry Jason, those log details were for the 8th, here is what I have for today.

VH-ZXC QF0432 09/01/2009 13:29 Qantas B767-336 Melbourne-Sydney
VH-ZXC QF0447 09/01/2009 16:13 Qantas B767-336 Sydney-Melbourne
VH-ZXC QF1124 09/01/2009 19:28 Qantas B767-336 Melbourne-Sydney

It just used QF1124 for the flight into Sydney, if it did MEL-MCY it would have to have been this morning, not sure why this filght number is being used.
