I thought it was quite clever! Very funny rip off of the Airport show in every sense!

Didn't know it was on youtube, I got it from some other place.

It's on BBC1 HD on saturdays at 21:00 UK time.

I found the passenger chucking a hissy fit over his forgotten passport (Later found) to be pretty much identical to real-life depictions on shows like Airline and Airport.

What was the name of the British comedy series that was made in the 70's (maybe early 80s but I think it was earlier) that followed the "adventures" of a group of English cabin crew as they flew around Europe in the Tridents that were the aircraft of the day?

Weird, it sounds like you're describing the relatively recent Mile High from 2003-2005, which was the same premise, but on Boeing 737s.

Reading Wikipedia's entry there seems to be a second series I never saw, which also included 742s.

A 7th Episode of the 1st series goes behind the scenes of the making of "Come Fly With Me"

Stick "Come fly on the wall" into your google machine.

Air date in the UK 8th Feb 60min episode

The jokes about the low cost airline industry is spot on!

Here is one of the better scenes from the show about charging for life jackets!
