Default Stranded Aircraft at Bangkok (Don Muang)

Anyone know who these Aircraft that we see on TV just about every time that the Bangkok floods get a mention belong to? I have seen one head-on shot of a 747 that has no engines, and am guessing that the others were unable to be flown out before the water arrived.

Theyre all at Don Muang and its probably the ex Orient Thai 747 you are thinking of.

There are some great shots on the DTech Facebook page

There are also some Thai A300's out there. In the Bangkok post on Friday there was a story about this very thing, including a list of which a/c were there and who owned them.

Default Flooded

Flew over the airport this afternoon on the QF 2. One word. Flooded.
The ground engineer at VTBS said water was up to the wings of an MD90. Assuming Orient Thai's.
Flooding starts about 80 miles NW of VTBS and is very wide spread.
Thinking the airport and aircraft will need a lot of work once this is over.
