As I walked over to Mona Vale headland this afternoon, the Ambulance Service of NSW Agusta 139 VH-SYV approached low from the west, and positioned over the blowhole at Warriewood beach. After watching a little of what was unfolding, I returned home to pickup the camera and head over to Turrametta headland for a closer view.
Someone had jumped into shallow water at the blowhole and received spinal injuries. VH-SYV lowered two crew members down onto the rock platform, and then the patient was lifted in a stretcher with one crew member, followed by another lift of the second crew member. Although the Police had blocked off some of the usual viewing areas at the blowhole, I found a nice location to look down on all the action. Agusta 139 Rescue Video

Nice video mate. You need to try and take the shutter down to make the blades not freeze up. Also Interesting to see the pilot fly off and come back to cool the oil down in the engine.
