Default Melbourne Airport Works

I noticed that recently there has been a lot of work going on around Concourse E and F at T3. I thought I read somewhere that both E and F were getting extended so that more gates could be added, are these works related to this or does this have something to do with the construction of the new T4? On that note, does anyone have an update on how construction is going for T4?

I also noticed that there is a bit of work going on at the far end of Pier 2 at T1, does anyone know what they are doing?

Currently, the works around the E pier is apart of the PUGS project. The works at the end of F pier have been due to the F infill project for more parking. T4 project is about half way through at the moment with the construction phase in its infancy.

I assume by you saying Pier 2 you mean the B pier, if so, it's construction for bay B29(?) which will be another dashie bay.

D6 can only be used by narrow body aircraft, VA has been getting it quite regularly and they are required to bus pax from gate 15 to D6
