Default Helicopter over Helensburgh

Hey everyone.
Just wondering if anyone knows the reason for a helicopter flying at approx 500-1000 feet above Helensburgh for a few hours today.
It was a Bell 206 with a pod under the rear fuselage.
It had fluoro red/orange on its tail, and on the side of its fuselage.
Couldn't tell if it was blue or grey for its main colour.
Thanks in advance.
Todd.
