Default DHC8 SDA&SDE

Qantaslink DHC8 VH-SDA & VH-SDE were both deleted from the Aussie Reg on 05/06/2014.

Flightware shows what looks like recent test-flight for both.

Have they been sold o/s or local ?

Default Dash8-200

I thought Qantaslink had the Dash8-200s, just for the Lord Howe Island route as I am pretty sure that was all the runway could handle.

Good thing there is still three left in the fleet then!

SDA was an expected withdrawal as it had no APU, SDE surprises me as it was fully re - furbished inside, would have expected TQG or S to go as they are very tired inside!

They are both sitting idle at the North Pond with all red tails and titles removed, not long for the road I would say.

Yep, they have three left, TQG and S (currently SYD based operating LDH/MRZ as well as 300 services as a sub) and TQX (currently BNE based for THG/CTL, weekend LDH services and other services in place of 300s)
